I eat when I'm hungry and don't eat when I'm not hungry. I try to eat enough to last me several hours, but, should I happen to get hungry sooner, then I eat. Then, at the next meal, I may try to eat a bit more to last me longer.
Also, I don't eat from waking until sleep. Once I get up, I wait until I'm hungry to eat. That might be immediately on some days, but it's usually a couple of hours.
Next, I eat whatever I want, provided it's a whole food or minimally-processed with few ingredients. I'm lucky that I don't crave or eat Doritos, McDonalds, Coca Cola, etc. I eat fats, carbs, and proteins. Actually, I eat foods that contain those macronutrients, such as: ground beef, chicken, bananas, red apples, green apples, red grapes, white potatoes, sweet potatoes, broccoli, spinach, carrots, medjool dates, almonds, almond butter, various beans, pasta (gluten-free, but I don't have an issue with gluten), pasta sauce, garlic, onions, eggs, salted butter, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, almond milk, avocados, sharp cheddar cheese, pickles, etc.
Finally, no matter what I eat, I don't really notice much difference. Sometimes, I undereat, but I've been better about that lately. This is what my diet looks like, but it's not a recommendation to others. There are many things I can eat that others can't or don't want to. As noted in my previous post, I try not to be restrictive or have weird rules about what I can and can't eat. I try to keep it simple.
