Looking for Pediatric LLMD in Pennsylvania

Urgently in need of a lyme literate medical doctor in Pennsylvania for pediatrics. Have had no success in finding one. Thank you in advance.

What area are you in? I’m in Pitt but see someone in Philly. Both my old doctor in Pitt and my doc in Philly see people of all ages.

So Dr. D.L. — Pittsburgh center for functional medicine. He’s good as far as options in Pitt go but it’s a newer practice so I felt he’s still feeling out what works best for his patient base.

And for philly Dr. A.C. Who was a speaker at this years ILADS. She’s 3x the price but 3x the experience.

I don’t think we can say names but I think that was all kosher? Mods can edit if not.

I switched between the two in July if you’re curious how that falls into play with my history in my signature.

this is who i thought of. She was in Kennett Square at the time. I cant remember why we didnt go with her - it was 11 years ago. She had a great reputation. Maybe it was price.

My husband and I went to A.C. around 12 years ago, but not really excited as she limited her treatment, hence we had stalled progosis. Went to another ILADS member and had open-ended treatment which fared us well, considering we both had 5 tick-borne diseases (ugh) requiring various individual treatment regimens. Treated for each until symptoms resolved (mostly) and rejoined the real world and jobs. Just having a hard time finding a Pennsylvania pediatric LLMD.

Advocator - I’ve had a good experience with Dr. AC so far. What infections didn’t she find? You can see in my signature the change in July when I switched.

I can understand not wanting to go back if you didn’t get off on a good foot. Based on my experience I would not go back to my Pitt doctor or recommend anyone commute from far, but as a first doc to see and if you’re local I’ll mention him still.

I do know Dr. A.C. treats children though based on a couple case studies of hers that I’ve read.
