Lyme Guy,

I did not have the best impression of Dr Frid. She is definitely smart, but she strikes me as a bit of a capitalist trying to make as much money as possible. Also, she only does IVIG in her office so if you don't live near NYC it is prob not feasible. They said most insurance don't cover it, especially out of state.

I am about to start IVIG next week, though technically under another diagnosis. I have Lyme and Co, 10 yrs undiagnosed and have done many ABX.

Question for anyone who has seen neurologist Dr. K in CT: Does he premedicate IVIG with IV steroids? If so, how much? Or what other premeds does he use?
