Has anyone felt better after the vaccine?

In a way the bodys response to the virus could kill lyme and co. SO has anyone felt better after taking the vaccine?

Several people on the LymeDisease.org US forum said that they felt better after the vaccines. Most of the people who said this got the Moderna vaccine, which I suppose makes sense because it's a larger dose.

No disrespect intended saraeli, but how specifically does that "make sense"? Large quantities of the COVID mRNA vaccine have never been linked to a favorable Lyme Disease outcome. If anything, if we're depending on reports alone, many people both with and without Lyme Disease have expressed grave regret about taking the COVID vaccine.

On another Lyme forum I've read positive posts about ppl not seeing a flare in symptoms, and yes even some feeling better, odd huh?. One person took the J&J and still feels great. I did Phizer for both including booster. No change in my Lyme symptoms good or bad. That's my own experience. Everyone's different.

I did not have the vaccine but I believe I did have the virus. While sick with the virus, my normal Lyme symptoms all but disappeared. Symptoms returned when the virus was winding down.

I don’t know if I ever heard what happened to those people who felt better after the vaccine. I don’t know if they stayed that way permanently or if their Lyme symptoms returned at some point.

I have found that interesting as seems the same happened with me. Wasn't sure if the COVID symptoms just took over my focus or if the Lyme symptoms really were les. What do you think about yours?

My normal symptoms definitely dissipated quite noticeably. Had nothing to do with focus or mental distraction. Even the body pain and muscle soreness from the virus felt distinct from my usual joint/muscle symptoms.

I have had several acute illnesses since being full blown symptomatic with Lyme. I have had a couple of sinus infections, a weird stomach virus, and shingles twice. My normal Lyme symptoms didn’t noticeably disappear with those other acute illnesses.

Interesting. I forgot to mention while the Lyme symptoms went background, Sjogrens/Raynaud's became much worse. Hands and feet so cold they burned, eyes much more sore and dry mouth, especially at night, was worse.

When the COVID fever went away, the Sjogrens/Raynaud's became much more tolerable.

I don't know the mechanism, but my experience with Covid was like WBF's, the Lyme symptoms took a royal hike during and after the disease. It was blissful. But then more recently, I had a relapse, beginning with pain behind the eyes. I upped my Stephania, and that seems to have made a difference. I may be over the worse of the relapse, which hopefully is the Lyme's last hurrah.

My understanding of what was going on was muddied by developing severe heart strain due to shoveling heavy snow. The heart damage due to Lyme and then Covid was quietly there, but overexertion made it manifest. I found that even decaf coffee made it exponentially worse, so I am off that while the heart heals. Things are looking much better now.

Dr. McCullough has said that the spike proteins from the vaccines are readily distinguishable from those from the disease, and are more harmful to the body. As said, I don't know how all this ties together. I guess in some people the immune response somehow sends the b.B into hibernation.

Given our condition comes and goes, it is very very hard to say what helps and what does not even when u take antibiotics. For me, 9 months of aggressive antibiotics back in 2018 has put my lyme to "remission" and mostly restored my brain function to normal (i used to have debilitating brain fog).

However... during these 9 months i had many days when i was wondering if this treatment will do any difference or not, as i was not able to see any kind of serious reactions, herxes (i've had lots of herxes the first time i tried antibiotics, years before, unsuccessfully), improvement after 3-4-5 months of pills, nothing. And please note i was having these doubts while taking mino + zitrho + rifampicin - all of them are proven to be active against lyme+bart - the vaccine is against COVID, not against lyme... so boy that is a long shot to say it has any effects...

Still, 1 year after the treatment, it was clear to me it (the abx treatment) has had a positive effect as my brain fog never returned (i still have some arthritis , nerve pain, but manageable - this is why i wrote "remission" in quotes above).

So i would go ahead and challenge anyone who is saying they feel better or worse after vaccines (i got 3 shots myself too) but i don't attempt to say it had any effects because i know how unreliable that assumption can be with this disease.
