Has anyone successfully done Rawls protocol?

Has anyone successfully done Rawls protocol? What are your experiences with it? How long is the program that he gives?

My dad achieved a sense of remission from that protocol. Pretty quickly too. Like 3-4 weeks. (He went right to full dose).

Given he wasn’t as sick as most people here but started to get extreme fatigue that was interfering with his day to day.

Still has some neuropathy in feet and chills like sensations occasionally but evidently he feels well enough to not take much of my advice.

I sometimes wonder if I’d respond as well to it but I doubt we have the same infection loads and what not.

I’ve never been impressed by Dr Rawls:

He rates 5 stars for herbal treatment effacacy

and 2 1/2 stars for antibiotics.

5 stars for CBD oil
( many of us did the CBD oil with no improvements )

3 stars for coffee enemas.

Coffee enemas may be good for detoxing - but it ain’t gonna put your Lyme infection into remission.

Yea I was on the Buhner protocol for 6 months and didnt really notice a difference. Not sure if the Rawls will be any different. Hoping Dr J will give me my life back. Im eager to go on the medications for lyme persisters such as dapsone.

That's a good point WBF. Rawl's admits that his herbal program is based off of Buhner. He makes a few changes here and there, but it isn't that much different. I highly doubt the changes he makes are "for the better". It's more likely he made changes/additions to Buhner as to not exactly copy Buhner's recommendations. Additonally, Rawl's adds in more supplement type stuff like NAC, GSH, ALA, COQ10, Vit C, among others.

From my experience, the problem with these large herbal programs is you are ingesting SO MUCH. Many of us are sensitive to treatment. It's hard to differentiate what is causing what when ingesting so many different substances. Easier to identify reactions and their origins by adding in things slowly.
