Good Morning from Sunny Charlotte, NC! After 4 months of severe joint and muscle pain (in addition to some other symptoms), my primary care determined that I have a tick borne illness - IMG 23 positive. However, Infectious disease won't see me because CDC standards say I don't have lyme. I know, a lot of you have been through this too. I"m looking for an LLMD in NC or SC (preferably around the Charlotte area), but haven't had much luck. I have searched sites with LLMDs listed, but I'd like a reference from someone who has had luck. I'm not sure when I was bitten, but I've had severe joint and muscle pain since June. I was in little big horn battlefield June 3rd, and had ticks on me, or I could have been bitten prior - I used to be quite active and run on the Anne CLose Greenway in Fort Mill, SC. I recently finished a 28 day dose of doxycycline, and I"m feeling a little better, but still having symptoms. I"m now trying paleo diet and probiotics. Any Dr. References would be much appreciated. Thank you all!

I have an appointment to see her dr. On Oct 7th. I’m so happy to have hope again. Fingers crossed I’m as successful as she was. It’s going to be a journey, but I’m ready for the ride!
