Bartonella doctor recommendation please

Hi. First time post here. Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Can anyone recommend a doctor who has successfully helped them with their bartonella? Navigating this world is so tricky and any recommendations are appreciated.

I am currently in Portugal and there is no Lyme.Bart.Bab here so the medical system is practically useless to me. I would need to work with a doctor who does telemedicine.

Hi chillpill - welcome to the forum.

It might be difficult to find a LLMD to treat you without at least one in person appointment first.

I hope you do find one!

Are you able to travel to nearby countries ?

In answer to your question: Yes and no. It depends on where and for how long etc. Finances are tight and all of this stuff is out of pocket :-\ And after C-19, it seems like the medical world is more accustomed to practicing medicine over Zoom smile

I have test results from Armin labs and others that I can send to any practitioner along with a diary of events and symptoms etc.

hello and welcome -

i do not know of anyone who does telemedicine only appts - but i suspect there are some in Europe

you could try asking on the "breaking down bartonella" facebook group - i think i saw one of the moderators are trying to build a list of practitioners who consult with Dr M - the bartonella expert
they have members worldwide so may well have doctors in europe on that list

that might give you an option

otherwise there is the self treatment option - but as you suggest it is rather challenging
it is possible though - i am self treating bartonella and lyme - as there are no LLMDs in the UK - and am 50-60% recovered

Yeah that sucked. Friday was brutal, I don't know what happened there.

A guy with Lyme I know said "parasites get active before the full moon which taxes your system". I looked and the moon was at 82%. I dunno. It's such a complex thing having triple infections of Bart, Bab, Lyme for me plus parasites and mold (found via Bioresonance testing)

I don't know anything about that stuff ... am now looking into whether it's viable to do a thorough parasite cleanse and just check off that box. Couldn't hurt to do a parasite and mold cleanse ... could it? smile

My Lyme doc is Dr. T.M in CT.He does telemeds and also said he has patients from all over different states and countries. I've never seen him in person for my initial appointment or any of my visits.

WalkingbyFaith: Yes, a water-damaged house I lived in for two years. Next to figure out if it's a health issue for me and address it. Don't know much about it, any guidance appreciated.
