The fungal infections that I tend to get are rashes in the sweaty areas under my arms or around my groin and it smells bad. I find mepron is usually effective for this. I've also occasionally gotten the white stuff on my tongue but not as often.
This usually happens when I herx a lot and my immune system is overloaded, or due to the anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effect of antibiotics like minocycline. So I try to keep the herxing under control, and not do too much at once.
I tried fluconazole, but it was messing with my adrenals and sodium/potassium too much, so I take atovaquone instead.
The research on azole drugs and bartonella found clotrimazole effective against stationary phase B. henselae, but metronidazole and fluconazole were not as effective:

Although bartonella and babesia are quite different in many ways, both rely on taking iron and heme from red blood cells, and drugs which target this process are effective on both.
