Hats off to those who don’t get burnt out on researching their health issues. I think I’m getting to that point or I probably been there for a while now.
The amount of detective work we have to do Ourselves is beyond ridiculousness. This is 2024.
Some will argue that healthcare has come along ways. Well yes, It has ,……once you’re at the point where you’re almost dying…..it can save lives.
The minute any industry becomes hyper focused on profits is generally the beginning of the end.
I just thought of this as I’m trying to juggle what lab Tests I would like my primary care provider to order vs my functional medicine Doctor. I can’t get enough time with the functional doctor to do everything that’s needed, and the primary doctor just bulks at any test that they don’t do for 95% of the general public.
It’s a game we play in the US with what clinics and health insurance “allow” their doctors to do. I often wonder at what point will this change because it cannot go on like this. Yet it does.
I don’t think my expectations are too high, but I guess they probably are by today’s low standards of so many things.
Oops there I go venting again. 🤔Well I’m venting for Everyone.
