thymosin alpha 1 Peptide can restore supressed immune function? (IgG?) Really?

This was a comment on another post.

Since I have tested very suppressed immune cells, (under range IgG/ Hypogammaglobuimia) I would like to know more about this.

I know nothing about peptides, but some do here, and will see this post. I have not googled this yet.

The conventional treatment for low IgG is IVIG, which is the cost of a cheap new compact car, unless you get insurance approval. So, Im looking for alternatives.

Thymosin Alpha 1 was somewhat helpful for me, but it didn't progress me further in my treatment.

It is true that it can restore immune function. But, I should add this idea mostly comes from a study where animals with a missing thymus gland had restored immune function after taking Thymosin Alpha 1.

So given the idea that there could be many reasons for immune dysfunction, this means that TA-1 won't work for everyone in every use case.

It's worth a try though, you never know. It's also helpful for allergies. I remember this one person cured his lifelong hayfever with it.

You might also want to look into Thymalin, which is another thymus peptide. It is said that it sort of remodels the thymus gland. But this is based on Russian studies that are sometimes kind of written in favor of the outcome that's wanted by the authors.

Whereas TA-1 has been studied more in other countries and has more solid evidence. I do have some Thymalin as well and might try it one of these days.
