My husband has been using this for many years.
I sold it at my health food store.

Well today I was going down the stairs and I slipped and crunched my right foot/ankle
SO PAINFUL!!

He painted the dmso on my injury and within 15 minutes relief!

Many years ago, my husband (at work) bashed his tendon on machinery. It swelled up.
After a few weeks and still swollen and painful, he went to a specialist who said he could operate and fillet it and remove part of his tendon.
My husband didn’t like the thought of cutting part of his tendon decided to try the DMSO.

Within a few weeks (with daily applications) the swelling was gone.

was surprised by how many different beneficial actions it seems to have - if you believe it all its some kind of wonder drug - with most of its properties being beneficial to chronic Lyme sufferers

i don't know how this UK GP doctor gets away with publishing all the "alternative health" material she does on her website - and still retains her licence - they seem to pursue people and strip their licence to practice medicine for less

I try to use less of this now since long term affect are not that very well studied. But I did buy another 8oz bottle with "the tree on it" from Amazon last winter. Same brand my brick supplement store used to stock.

Ive mostly replaced it with using Solomon's seal tincture used topically (spendy, so I grow and make my own). Fall harvest, winter soaking. Small pickle jar to share with others, and it surprises them how well it works. These are normal people (non-lyme), so I'm now somewhat of a healing Wizard in their eyes lol.

Dr Myhill no longer has her GP license so she can't prescribe medications, she is still practicing as a 'naturopath physician' though which I presume means recommendations that are not pharmaceuticals

Dr Klinghart prescribed me melatonin combined with DMSO and emu oil to apply topically, I tried it once and I felt amazing (compared to normal) for a few days after with a lot of relief of symptoms, I still have some left I'm thinking about trying it again

I also bought a bottle of DMSO from Dr Myhill shop recently but I haven't used it yet

pinkblossom I used to do high dose melatonin, 150 mg daily.

It's definitely helpful for me too!

Although, one day it suddenly made me feel awful, so I think it's good to take breaks every now and then.

The half-life is short but I do think it builds up in the body.

Well, DMSO is one of the things I never did try but always kept it in the back of my mind. I do use Penetrex cream at night, but the comments I have heard over the years on here make me think DMSO would be like a miracle cure compared to Penetrex.
