Ok if you have been following my story you know how uncomfortable I am with ABX for my teenage daughter. Just wanted to let everyone know how excited I am I just spoke with a retired Dr who use scuba(he runs a dive school) with room air to treat all kinds of things and he has agreed to train my daughter going slowly of course and it is right here in my city! I feel this is much safer and am going to try it. I dont see what it could hurt... if anyone has experience or knowledge of this please tell me everything you know!

No I havent heard anything about this but being a former diver I would love to learn more - the idea that I could combine diving with healing is awesome. Does he have a website?

I will have to ask I was just reading on how people have became symptom free who knows if they are "cured' but its safer than all the meds so its worth a shot to me. I live on a lake and had seen a diving school and thought im gonna call for cert and lessons for her.Well got to talking to him the guy (a medic) who partners with a retired doctor actually have started treating vets coming home disabled with scuba treatment. I told him our situation and he was so interested he wants to do it just for research purposes. He uses the mixed air for what he has been doing for the vets since it is a higher concentration of oxygen(like HBO therapy). But Lyme is aerobic so it is suppose to be better to use room air for the Nitrogen and the depths for the pressure to push into tissue. So just like HBO but with room air and if nothing else she learned something new, but I think it will help I really do. Its not just some crazy idea her very expensive LLMD recommended it.

Iva, this post is from 2012. I'm not sure this person still frequents the forum.

They were last active in 2012. That's 12 years ago. I doubt they will respond sadly.
