OK - not to worry - was going to share a source over here
Thanks for the thought.
Instead of making a new thread I'll post here some interesting developments in my own situation. I messaged my doctor last Monday describing how bad my symptoms were and the suffering. He offered some Minocycline and I said yes. When I got the Mino I decided I would pair it with some leftover abx I had to target Bart (but also hit Lyme) to see what happens. In total, starting last week I took:
Mino
Bactrim
Amoxicillin
MB
Hottunyia
Cryptolepsis
Interfase Plus (for biofilms)
After about
3-4 days I had some noticeable improvement. Not a miracle mind you, but more noticeable improvement than I have had in a long time. More so than the whole six months I had been on DSF. Of course I am super happy with this discovery. To me, this trial, plus my historical symptoms, means that Bart is likely a primary driver in my illness. It's frustrating because I have taken SO MANY abx over the last 9 years or so. I don't know if abx can cure my Bart + whatever else infection, but I'll take using the abx vs. feeling like I was on death's doorstep constantly deteriorating.
Unfortunately, I ran out of MB. I have a new prescript
ion for it but am waiting a week or so because it's so expensive. In the meantime I added J. Knotweed. I've noticed in just the week I've taken the abx I'm going to need some heavy duty probiotics if I go down the abx route again. I have an appt with my doctor in a month and I am going to ask for an abx + herb protocol aimed at Bart. Marty Ross says you need to treat continuously for 4-6 months. I'll get my doctor's opinion on it.
