BSL Labratories

My town is attempting to put in place a new zoning law that would allow for BSL laboratories by-right. I've been trying to stop this, for obvious reason. Well, obvious to me, at least.

They asked me to provide them with data concerning why this would be a bad idea and unsafe for the community.

Does anyone have ideas about where I could start looking for this information?

I'm thinking that maybe a list of all of the pathogens that scientist work with in these different laboratories and why they are a threat to humans, would be a start.

Also, data about how many lab leaks have occurred. Unfortunately, I think a lot of lab leaks are covered up, and not publicized.

I'm not sure if there might be a citizen action group that tries to prevent BSL laboratories? That type of an organization might have a lot of data on the subject.
