I assume you switched to abx. Did that get you into remission and how long did it take? Hopefully the 50% improvement from the other stuff made it faster and easier.
I have an LLMD that I uses for tests etc. She mentioned waning to use abx at the end and I’m open to the idea but not positive.
actually i do not believe in chopping and changing treatment approaches
instead i try to find things that help and then stick with them - then find more things that help and add those
so i have continued with the herbs - as i do feel they helped some - and then added antibiotics on top - pulsing 2 weeks on 1 week off - as per Dr J's approach
for background - i have multiple co-infections - was undiagnosed and untreated told i had CFS etc for around 5 years - and as a result am a slow responder - it took me 4 or 5 years to get to 50% recovered - treating continuously with herbs, making lifestyle changes, focussing on restoring my sleep, exercise , diet etc
in the last year pulsing antibiotics - whilst maintaining all the good stuff that was helping before - i have gone from 50% to around 75% recovered - perhaps more on the good days
so the antibiotics are helping at a rate about
3x faster than the herbs, lifestyle etc were doing
i was pretty committed to the herbal approach - read multiple books - got all the equipment - obtained a duty free spirits licence so i could by pure alcohol - made my own tinctures - was religious in taking them exactly as per Buhner etc - but now i think i persevered too long and would have been further forward if i had started antibiotics sooner.
i hope its of some help
