New symptom tingly/numb lip?

numbness tingling or burning or prickly sensations are all pretty common with lyme - and maybe bartonella also

its typically caused by neuropathy due to inflammation in and around nerves - interfering with their function

the good news is that its often transitory - flaring up in one place then dying down again - maybe starting somewhere else some time later and then fading again

its a very common symptom

some people also have longer lasting neuropathies - for instance getting severe pain in an arm or a leg - and these can tale ;longer to resolve - but do usually pass

i think you have described numbness in other areas before - so it sounds like its more the former type of thing in your case - which is good as it typically resolves in a few days to a couple of weeks

Garzie since you mentioned bartonella I went to my naturalpath dr yesterday and explained my new symptoms of twitching and tingly in different areas and she rescanned me and bartonella popped up. She said while treating the borrelia it can make coinfections come out. So now I am going to start the desbio bartonella vials.
I hope it helps since I’m experiencing more twitches/electrical spasms in the past few days.

Thank you saraeli for your response, I’ve been feeling pretty down since these symptoms are so scary and they are so new to me. It’s a bit comforting knowing it can be a common symptom.
