Does anyone know if he is back treating Lyme disease?
Or is he retired?
Apparently he was ill - but there wasn’t much info about it.

Their website says they are open to appointments. On their "team" page the only practitioner listed is Dr. Jemsek.

He is back. I will go to see him in a couple of weeks.

All the practitioners left so it is just him. I am not sure if he is taking new patients yet. At the time I made the appt, he was only taking current patients.

Was an explanation ever given as to why all the practitioners left?

maybe trkane has some more info - but i don't think anything more than we have already discussed was made public via thier usual channels......

such a strange thing - perhaps he feels its no-one else's business but his own - which i can kind of understand - but it seems such a miscalculation - as the lack of clear straightforward explanation seems to hang over him like a cloud and is surely doing more harm than good .....

i do hope he manages to rebuild his practice - and continues to support patients

I'm seeing Rachel now. She didn't explain what happened but I have a feeling he went missing in action and with out any answer, left them no options except to explore other options.

Rachel and Dannie opened their own practice in the building where Jemsek was previously located in DC.

It is called Restorative Health and Wellness. I would highly recommend checking them out.

I feel similarly to yourself. I get keeping in-house drama inside, but, the closing of the practice and the departure of all the practitioners underneath him was such a seismic event that, in my view, it has to be explained to regain trust.

I saw Rachel when I was going to JSC. She was great. She is easily one of the best clinicians I have ever seen in any healthcare setting. Kind and knowledgeable all rolled up into one. I'm glad to hear she landed on her feet. Does this new clinic she practices at treat similarly to JSC?

Rachel does see to be using what she learned from Jemsek. With myself she has me pulsing antibiotics. She gives you safety labs. She said that she is treating Jemsek patients and Dannie will be accepting new patients.

The one difference is that the practice is smaller and friendly, support staff is excellent. Anyone that has been to Jemsek has experienced some excellent support staff and some not helpful staff, at least from my visits.

I assume this means you are seeing Rachel now. She has brought on a functional med doctor as her overseeing physician. Is he automatically part of your treatment plan or do you have to see him separately if you want functional med treatment?

From what I understand the Dr. oversees the patient's protocol but Rachel and Dannie setup the protocol they feel best suites the patient.

This could be different for new patients but in my case I was a patient at JSC and had been treated under Rachel.

In my case it was a easy transition to the new practice, very similar to JSC.

The last time I was at JSC was in 11/23 right before they shut down. I don't have any records in front of me but I think the cost was around $500 ?
I haven't looked at Jemsek's site lately to see if they list their pricing.

This type of thing is common with weight loss, or anti-aging clinics. Seems shady. I’ve worked in sales at both in my past. Slimy experience.
