so its getting complex when you searcing for an Potent Artemisia Product. I did already some research and i will share some. Artemisia annua is the plant which contains Anti Malaria proberty. The main substant from artemisia is artemisin. You can buy extracted Artemisin Products which are higher Potent like normal Artemisia. And some of the malaria meds are made out of artenusate. Artenusate is the chemical extracting of artemisin. But its really hard for me to find a good product. Somepeople say Arte M, (which is just artemisia extract, also not even artemisin) I found this from Nutriend Research Artemisin Solo, which contains pure Artemisin 250mg. So long story short. Did somebody know a good potent Artemisin Product? Or did somebody even tried arte-m or Artemisin solo? Thanks palermo

artemisinin is actually a semisynthetic drug - its derived from compounds extracted from the plant - that are purified and then further reacted to make a drug with more desirable pharmacokinetic properties than the raw plant chemical itself ( not very water soluble so not ideal for oral drug use )

these days they can use engineered yeast to make the raw material - then process that

this is why artemisinin is a white powder or tablet - while artemisia annua - the herb or standardised extracts of it are green

the last time i purchased artemisinin it was inexpensive - from a brand called Mountain Fresh

there are also other artemisinin derivatives - some of them more potent - like artensuate and artemether

its not particularly effective on its own for most babesia species ( seems to have more effectiveness for the simpler and easier to treat B. microti - but less so for the more problematic human species - B. Divergens, B. Duncani B. odecoilii, B. Venatorum ) and the WHO advises against its use as a monotherapy for malaria and other organisms

the other important thing to know about artemisinin is that its not suited to long term use - in fact after only one week of daily dosing the blood levels drop to only 10 to 20% of those achieved on the first day - due to the liver ramping up its efforts to excrete the drug.
