I also had PCR-confirmed bartonella, but I continued to get arm pain and circulation problems when treating borrelia, even after eliminating most other bartonella symptoms. So it might not just be bartonella. Borrelia also gets into the endothelium, and if you get inflammation there it can lead to blood clots such that your hand feels numbish and hot.
I'm not too familiar with the DesBio products, but my understanding is that the bartonella series contains bits of dead bacteria. This will stimulate an immune reaction, which might be a bad idea if you've got signs of autoimmunity.
