Arm pain? Bartonella?

Bartonella caused swollen lymph nodes (under my armpit) but the arm pain and circulation issues in my hand was blood clots due to borrelia. This is autoimmune, and stimulating your immune system with desbio is likely to make it worse.

What I did was to take a low dose of bacteriostatic antibiotics for a few months to keep the bacteria in a dormant state until my immune system calmed down and the autoantibodies went away.

I also had PCR-confirmed bartonella, but I continued to get arm pain and circulation problems when treating borrelia, even after eliminating most other bartonella symptoms. So it might not just be bartonella. Borrelia also gets into the endothelium, and if you get inflammation there it can lead to blood clots such that your hand feels numbish and hot.

I'm not too familiar with the DesBio products, but my understanding is that the bartonella series contains bits of dead bacteria. This will stimulate an immune reaction, which might be a bad idea if you've got signs of autoimmunity.

just a point of clarification - auto-immune disorders are a group of very real medical conditions.

they can be demonstrated by antibodies being reactive to normal self tissues - such as
-thyroid in hashimoto's disease,
-pancreatic cells in Type 1 diabetes
-nerve cells in MS
etc ( there are over 100 named types and probably many more as yet unnamed ones )

there is indeed a lot of inadequate treatment of these conditions - and typically, in mainstream medicine, very little emphasis or even understanding of the root causes.

But the conditions themselves are very real and often life altering

in fact there is a lot of overlap between patents with lyme and co and patients with auto-immune diseases - because chronic infections seem to be one factor that predisposes a person to acquiring auto-immune disease.
