How do I know if I'm sick again

I think bart is back. When I wake up and step out of bed, my feet are so sore I ca barely bend them to walk. Also the migraines and stiff neck started up again with the back of the head and neck . I though I was fine but after a few months being off abx, these symptoms returned. Thoughts?

No, I just completely stopped it I think back in June or May. I went from 110 lb up to 150 lb which is amazing and I figured the infections were gone because it was impossible for me to put on any weight with the infections. I felt great at the time. Few months fast forward, here I am. It's zaps and ice pick shooting pain in my head then followed by tingling plus base of neck and head which I can only think is bart. I'm so afraid to start up abx again because I don't want to reck my gut again and have diareah as it took me so long to fix my gut and gain weight.

unfortunately, it sounds like you are experiencing the same symptoms you have had before

experiencing the same symptoms returning would be a fairly good test for if the infections have reared their head again

the good news is you figured out how to get it in remission once before - so you have a very good chance of doing so again - and its usually easier the second time

perhaps consider a maintenance phase at the end of this antibiotic protocol - so you gradually wean off antibiotics and your immune system has a better chance of taking over and keeping the infections at bay on its own

Dr J does this with all his patients - basically some months of antibiotics for 1 week on 4 - but only 3-4 days of that week and extending the weeks off over time
