Has anyone talked to Dude since his last post? I hope he’s okay.

as i mentioned in the other thread - i have tried to reach out to The Dude Abides outside of the forum but received no response.

he appears to have become upset at something i said - so may not respond to me.

if anyone else is knows the Dude - it may be a good time to reach out directly

By chance, I sent Dude an email yesterday then came across this today. Hopefully will get something back in next few days or so.

Ive successfully made contact.

X-Files Fox Moulder isn’t the only one to drop out of society once in a while.

At least as far as I can tell, the Dude has not been abducted by aliens,…. so at least he’s got that much going on him.

However,….we never know if, when, or why his reappearance might or might not happen.

Also heard back from The Dude. Like so many, and as astroman mentioned, sometimes you need to drop and just get through. I can relate to that, as can so many on this forum.

Good news is he is out there, and I hope all think good thoughts for him in a tough time.
