Skullcap and Sore Feet?

Perhaps its unrelated and just random lyme weird pains.

I have had both feet tingle with pins and needles like pains when stepping up antimicrobial herbs

But thats a typical bart sign and both feet at the same time. not unexpected.

My thoughts are similar to Garzie’s.

I used Chinese skullcap extensively, and it was one herb I only had positive responses to. Pain of various kinds in the feet is a very typical bartonella symptom. However, like Garzie mentioned, it tends to be bilateral with both feet affected simultaneously.

Could you have strained or injured the affected foot somehow?

I think each of you may be on to something. I am experiencing a stronger & longer die-off this time around, with my feet taking some of the additional brunt of it. Neuropathy along with discolored toes/feet seems to be one of the unique outtakes of my infection.

Hi, Rob! Yes, it is a weird feeling.

I also get it after sitting for a while. When I get up and start walking, it gets better. Sometimes when I get out of the car to walk in the store, I have trouble walking and limp and hobble into the store only to walk out fairly normal. The feet thing is very typical with bartonella.

I don’t recall anything about Chinese skullcap being an antimicrobial treatment for anything. I believe it’s an immune modulator.

It’s natural to assume that changes in symptom patterns and intensity is directly related to the last change we made in treatment. However, it’s rarely that black and white with treating these infections. Symptoms can come and go and get better or worse for years before people even know what they’re dealing with.

Because these infections alter the immune system and other body functions, it seems there is a wide variety of factors that come into play in regards to treatment and symptoms. I wish I knew how to explain better what I mean. Maybe someone else will see this and explain better.

Time is another factor. You could be in treatment and have little to no change for weeks or months and then, all of a sudden, you start herxing or develop new symptoms or suddenly lose symptoms.
