A bit of an Update

Hi everyone I finally saw the neurologist he has ordered mri of my head/brain and neck/spine and an echo. I’m anxious but want to get that out of the way. What else should he have ordered ?

I returned from my cali trip, and to my surprise I felt pretty well through it so I didn’t resume any type of treatment but this week I have started with muscle twitching in random areas of my body.
It’s very random I’ll get some twitching in my butt cheek then in my hand and then in my back.
Which co infection causes the twitching ?

Do you have any symptoms similar to chronic fatigue syndrome/myalgic encephalomyelitis (CFS/ME)? If so, then it might be worth asking for an MRI that's done in an upright position to rule out craniocervical instability (CCI). Some people with CCI have CFS/ME that resolves once the CCI is treated surgically, and the only way to diagnose CCI is with an MRI of the head and neck area done while sitting upright.

Otherwise, it will be nice to have an MRI and echo done, just to rule out issues with your brain and heart. I found those tests comforting, and they allowed me to focus on other things.

For me, twitching was related to nervous system dysregulation and mast cell activation syndrome, not to a specific infection. It's also common with Bartonella and with mold toxicity.

Saraeli, I’m going to call and ask if I can do the upright/standing mri not sure if that’s the one they ordered or the lying down one.
I do have symptoms of chronic fatigue but those symptoms are also listed for Lyme/Bartonella so not sure.

Walkingbyfaith, honestly not sure my naturalpath asked the same question and it might be possible due to a pipe burst 10 years ago but I don’t see much evidence of it in the walls. And my naturopath didn’t give me anything for it.

I have had muscle twitches in the past so I assume it’s from Bart but these past few days it’s been a lot more which is odd since it’s been a few weeks since it had last happened. And past two nights I’ve also had my left hand falling asleep at night and some left upper arm aches so I’m guessing my nerves are being irritated somehow. The question is what is causing it..
