Flying with all of your meds

We are going to be flying next week and I am looking for any hints you might have to help us get through the security crud more easily. All 4 of us are on many meds. We know they need to be in original bottles, we have letters from drs saying that we are prescribed these controlled substances. We need to pack a cooler for our meds that need to stay cold.
We also are on Codwen Herbs...The bottles should be less than 3 oz IIRC....
Has anyone had trouble packing these kinds of things ion their carry on?

Hi MarriedToLymeinNJ.  I never had any problems with medications at the airport.  Having the letters from your doctors should help if there are any questions.  You may want to call ahead to see if there is anything else you need to do and be sure you have extra time just in case.  You should not have any problem.

 A trip!!!!!! How wonderful, I hope it is pleasure! Is this somewhere that you can ship some of your meds ahead of time? The items that need refridged can be overnighted via FedEx, it may be costly but also very costly if the airline makes you throw them out. We have never had trouble flying with meds, even liquids as long as the patient's name is on the bottles. Hope you all have a wonderful trip!

I Air travel ALL the time for my job. If it isn't a liquid, I wouldn't worry. I have traveled with what looks like a small pharmacy. I have never been questioned
