After I tried antibiotic treatment from a "lyme disease doctor" I developed the following three new conditions:
1. Lactose intolerance (within a year after)
2. Eczema (within a year after)
3. Neuropathies all over my body that feel like cold wet water, burning, itching, stinging. They flare up during upper respiratory infections, but are there all the time. The sensations are provoked by pressure or are random and last for about
a second. (a few weeks into antibiotics)
None of these three conditions have gone away after 4 years since stopping the antibiotics I took for 6 months. I took Minocycline, Azithromycine, Bactrim, Rifampin. He wanted me to take it for 2 years.
I was not cured of my TMJD, tinnitus, chronic muscle pain, tingling and numb sensation below the eyes that comes and goes, vision that shakes when panning on objects up close and looks wavy in the periphery. I have neck pain, back pain, sciatica, temple pain and some pain in the jaw muscles. This all started in my 20's.
I did have a time when I thought I saw a bruise that reminded me of lyme disease around the time of onset of the neck pain and vision symptom, but decided it was not a lyme rash and did not go to the doctor.
I have no idea what is going on with me and I decided to stop at 6 months.
