qualaquin/clindamyon treatment question?

the clindamyon bottle says take one every 4 hrs while awake. and the qualaquin bottle says take one every day with clindamayon. does this sound right? i also have the ABX eye drops for floaters called sulfacetamdein, has anyone tried these? do they help much..

the mg on qualaquin is 324mg and clindamyon is 150mg.

i'm just curious, i feel like i have bart mostly like i said numerous times, but he wants to go after babs first. does this make any sense? i'm not a doctor.. i just woke up today and saw 3 very fine lines on my butt/back that look like scratch marks, this is after not taking any meds yesterday..

Do those marks resemble stretch marks? If so, that can be a huge sign of Bart.

no, there not like stretch marks, i have 3 of them, they actually look like a cat scratch..

Hi James.  I am not familiar with the doses of Clindamycin and Quinine.  I did a different protocol for Babesiosis.  You may want to double check with your doctor about the doses.

thanks ticker, this is what it has to be then.. i'll call my LLMD tomorrow and tell him about the scratch marks and see what he says, its like missing one day of doxy and this happens..

James,

Have you been around sumack(sp?) You get it from a leaf I think. It looks like you've been whipped by a strap. It may be Bart too but keep a close eye on it. If it starts discharging clear liquid, it's probably sumack. My husband gets it all the time.

I'm not sure Im spelling it right by the way.

ok, i woke up this morning, and the marks are basically faded.. this is very odd.. i'm calling my LLMD this morning and hopefully they can change the protocol due to this and that since i've been off doxy for a few days, my body has been spacey and nauseous

i don't know what sumack is, but i'll look it up..

sometimes i get these scratch like marks on my ankles or on my arms, i always thought i was scratched by my dog in my sleep, but not on my butt.. LOL

James, I think these marks sound like they are from Bartonella.  Definitely let your doctor know.  Be sure to get photos of them when they come back.

i got caught up in work today, didn't have time to call the LLMD.. off tomorrow and will call and let him know. I hope he changes my protocol to bart..

yeah, i'm on babs right now, but i really think with the scratch marks, the anxiety/insomia, backaches, i think bart should be first, i dunno though. i'm not a doctor, i told him about these symptoms when i saw him last week, but he wanted me on babs first, never really asked why.

Hey James,

My doctor thinks I have Bart too but wanted to treat me for Babs first. I've seen a few people post here that have gotten treated for Babs first. I'm not sure why they do it like that though.
