i found this site and you add in your state name and you can see whats been reported to the CDC. my state (Tx) has 804 in 2002.

Use the formula
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/YOURSTATENAMELyme

Fill in your state name and Lyme as one word, e.g. newyorklyme or pennsylvanialyme, or in the case of Washington DC, dclyme.

In South Carolina you need to insert a hyphen between the state name and Lyme, i.e. southcarolina-lyme

It's not coming up. This is what it is saying:

Group Not Found

RD, Thank you, didn't realize there was a statistics site for reproted Lyme.
This is what was reported in Kansas since 2006

When looking up my surrounding states I also found information on
Master's Disease or (aka) STARI This a another stain of tick-borne illness

How do these figures work anyway? If they represent unique new diagnoses, then, given that the cases are apparently shown in # per 100,000 people, it would appear that in states like NY over time half the entire population has been infected?

i'm not sure how the numbers work, i just fond the site and thought others would like to see what it says for there state.

i wish i was there so i could go to the Dr in SC. unfortunately i live in Tx where no one believes in Lyme disease. but if you would stil like to meail me feel free. my addy is listed in here, just click on the email box under my nic to the left. i cant email you as you have this opption blocked.
