Static vision, ringing in ears...questions

Hi everyone,

I have this new symptom thats appeared and its scaring me since it's my eyes.  I seem to have static vision and how i explain it is i see crackles in my vision like a tv when you can't get the channel and it's scrambled.  It's not all over just in small little spots.  It's usually worse when i get up from laying down.  But when i keep one eye open and shut the other i notice it more in the one eye.  I'm wondering if anyone has experienced that?  And did it go away with treatment?  As well did anyone find a specific abx combo help the eyes the best?

As well since i started treatment i get annoying ringing in my ears that still has not passed!  Does anyone know if this is more related to lyme or could it possible be a coinfection.  I'm only being treated for lyme right now, and having many difficulties since i seem to be allergic to so many abx. :(

Yes i do see white fluorescent specs i have had a lot go on with me eyes but the static is something new :( CajunGrl i am on antiobiotics at the moment but it has been an uphill battle. I started on biaxin and i stayed on with tinidazole for 2 months straight then i was put on ceftin since i wasn't having musch help from the bixin with my neuro symptoms. THe ceftin seemed to work but i was having wierd effects with my hearts so the doctor decided to pulse my medication to see if i can de senstize my system if i introduce it at lower levels and work the dosage up. So i have been on have the dosage for the last 2 months and i can feel the effects of being on a lower dose. Thye wanted to start me on doxy as the next treatment but they opted out until the end of august since it is almost 40 degrees out here right now and they feel the effects of the sun with the doxy could be dangerous. So i'm going back to biaxin now hoping i wont react to it since i have been switching so much. I'm crossing my fingers as well that my eyes don't get worse since they just have been feeling off lately. And i'm praying that my system will accept the doxy with no problems at the end of august.

Hopeful girl, has your thyroid been checked recently? Hyperthyroidism can cause visual abnormalities. Just a thought.
