IDSA/ ILADS: I don't understand... (+ UOS trailer w/ guy 'shrugging'.

OK, I admit I am still a real knummy, but I don't understand. I guess I got confused during the Lyme conference.  I went to look over IDSA webite and their ' guidelines' took me to ILADS.  The UOS videos can be watched on this site.

Is ILADS under IDSA?  Although it does not recommend long term treatment, there is info regarding early dissemination and chronic lyme.  As well as UOS videos.

ILADS:  friend or foe, or am I just confused?  Sorry to be so out of the loop on this....

Hi +Lyme,

ILADS---friend IDSA---foe The two groups are separate, one is not "under" the other.

It is hoped that the attitude and guidelines of IDSA will become more "lyme friendly" after the conference.
I have not heard yet what the decisions of the panel are.

Oh, thanks, Bablymers -- I see now that ILADS actually came up as a hit when I did a search on IDSA. Actually, that's a good thing, huh?

NO question is dumb------that's how we learn, by asking!!! None of us know anything---until we do! I'm sure others here had the same question and were "afraid to ask" . You did them a service.

I agree that it's a good thing that Both sides of the issue may come up while people do a search online.
