How often do you herx?

What's you typical herx time?

I just had my second herx in 30 days. First was 5 days long, second was 3 days.

I can't really tell you because there really isn't a way for me to tell the difference between a herx and a flare-up of symptoms. I would say that most of my bad periods on any given day will usually only last an hour or two.

Thanks IH8Ticks (cool name!),

I guess that's good. I have good days and bad days, good parts of the day and bad parts of the day. When I have herxed, it has been intense and lasted several days. That's why I posted the question. I'm just wondering how big the range is with others.

How long has it been since you were diagnosed? Thanks again!

I swear I herxed for an entire month.  Symptoms (swollen knee, muscles sore to touch, etc.) I never had came to light and have not returned since they all came at once in July.  Of course Dr. said it wasn't a herx, said herxing is extremely unusual.  In my mind, it was a herx.

I was officially diagnosed in the Fall of 2007. I can go weeks or even months without herxing and then it will all start up again. I've probably herx for long periods of time, but like I've said, it's impossible to tell what's a herx and what's a flair up.
