Flagyl Question Please

Just wondering has anyone felt better from taking Flagyl or did it make you feel worse? And I'm not talking about the usual worse feeling you get before you begin to feel better when starting a new medication. I am asking if it took you to a better level of health?
Please respond if you tried this medication??

Hi Maria,
Hope you don't mind hearing from me again. I've been on Flagyl for six weeks now. The die off along with a dreadful cold and the flu has been hard to bear but my neurological symptoms (tremors, muscle tics, eye flutter, catalepsy, skin crawling) have almost all gone away. My mind is clearer and more at peace -- it's been a very long time since I felt this sane. Today I start a higher dose and am looking forward to feeling even better. Hope you will too.

achievinggrace I don't mind hearing from you at all I appriciate it more then you know.

I am fighting a sinus infection and swollen glands and sore throat, and I ask myself should I being this Flagyl feeling like this? Maybe I will get much worse I can not bear it right now.

How much were you on before begining your higher dose? And did it make you feel dizzy and off balance? The body aches I can handle but the dizziness i'm just afraid I wont be able to work, and I have no choice I have to work.

Maria, I'm blaming my dizziness on the cold because I'm getting over the cold now and the dizziness is gone. The flagyl won't help you with the cold at all, of course. My GP gave me a week's worth of Azithromyacin to help me with the sinus infection I ended up with. It really helped -- I just wasn't getting better.

Let's see, I worked my way up to taking 250mg of Flagyl three times a day. Now I have just started taking 500mg twice a day.

Feel better.

I'm starting my first dose this evening. I should have started it over three weeks ago, but the prescription never got faxed in. Anyhow, it will be via IV and is in addition to two other IVs I'm on- rocephrin and zithromax. Is there anything I should know or expect?

Hi,

As I mentioned in a different post, I start Flagyl soon (hopefully two weeks, but I'm having trouble getting my medication this month). So I don't know how I'll feel, but I let you know.
