Anybody has any info about a LLMD in DC metro area..near reston , herndon, leesburg, loudon county and fairfax county areas. i would really appreciate it.

Welcome to the forum! Cheezhead knows a great LLMD in the DC area. Click on the little envelope on the side of their name and an email will pop up. You can email them and get the name of the LLMD that way.

Thanks everybody for their support. I guess i need it desperately. I was feeling terribly depressed...
This is my history..

1. Six months back started getting slight symptons of joint pain. However i had severe heel pain since last 1.5 years which was misdiagnosed as plantar facitis.
2. Family Practise Doctor said its Lyme and treated me with doxy and asked me to stop doxy after 60 days. The pain went away for 2-3 months and then returned back vigourosly.
3. He suggested Rheumatalogists + gastroentrologists + Neurologists. Did all three of them twice with several test being repeated..
60 xrays + EMG + nerve conduction test+ EKG for heart + Heavy blood work to rule out celiac and other symptons + colonoscopy. Everything is negative. I am trying to convince FP that this is Lymes still present and he dosent agree. What i noticed was he seems to agree in his mind but was afraid to go ahead and treat for some reason. SO he suggedted i go to a infectious disease doctor. Same case with two Infectious disease doctors. Not ready to agree that i had any trace of Lyme left after 60 days of doxy. The blood work always shows borderline positive and negative. TOday my joint pains are severe and my fingers swell up and my face is showing some swelling on both sides. i have severe knee pain in my joints. my stomach gets upset with bloating everyday and diarhhea 2 times a week. Can someone tell me which stage of Lyme i am into now. i havent taken any antibiotics since last 3 months and am seeing a new sympton every week. i desperately need to meet a LLMD this week.

It sounds like Lyme may still be around, that's why it's so important to find a LLMD. You should also be checked for Bartonella, which is a co-infection that can come from ticks. Pain in the feet is just one of the many symptoms it can cause. Actually, you should be tested for ALL co-infections. Look in the thread titled, "New to Lyme?....Start Here!" and in there I list what you should be tested for.
