I have been on bicillin for like 2 months. Felt really bad when I first started. I mean bad. Well last week I had the best week. If my dr could have seen me I would have said..."this is me...I am back!"

SO shortlived. Had my shot again and I can't even get off the couch. I hurt everywhere. It hurts to think. I can honestly tell you(which I am sure you all know) this is the most depressing disease ever. I am so sad right now. I finally thought this was the answer.

Not so much.

Keep in mind that Lyme goes through a hatching cycle on a seasonal basis, so just because you had a good week followed by this horrible relapse does not mean the med you are on is not being effective... What does your doctor say about this?

I'm so sorry you are feeling bad again. I went through some times like what you experienced as well. I agree with Razzle, this is cyclical.

Please let us know what your doc thinks about all of this.

I had the same experience with Bicillin LA. At first, seemed I was making great progress, then all the sudden right back where I started.

Sorry you're having such a difficult time with this depressing disease. Have you ever tried or considered a natural protocol? Antibiotics don't work for everyone. They worked for my wife, but they didn't work for me. Maybe it's time for you to explore some alternative options if you haven't already???

cheer up ....have a coffee enema. its the thing that snaps me out of it when I'm in a puddle of pain on the floor.

and then if it is too much torture I take ANYTHING for the pain. somedays it's just too hard to figure all this stuff out.

the more I read about it the more confusing it gets. Some days I really just have to throw it al up to God and coffee enemas.
I keep giving myself a deadline where I'm gonna really give up and that's the only way I keep at least one day further from
giving up. But for now I definitely give up trying to figure out if this is the right way or the wrong way or maybe do what this one did or that one. take the magnesium?? don't take the magnesium??

My doctor in Seattle once told me she thinks there really is something in this disease that is about breaking you down. breaking down your will to even go on. It's cruel and you have to not let it plow over your will to live.

I see it doing it to me all the time. It is like that movie JAWS too. Just when you think it is safe to go back into the water........BAM.. I feel like I am being stalked for over 25 yrs now and just finally got diagnosed in November.

I thought I was fighting a liver disease and this lyme hits you hard in the liver ..........we gotta do what ever we can to keep our livers clearing all the toxins.

but if the pain is too much for my nervous system I take opiates. I really think my brain would have exploded if I had not
taken the pain meds when I needed them. I stay on top of the coffee enemas too.
