Hi all,
springsjean, you are welcome. I think when people start feeling bad again it's because it's possible your body is full of toxins. How often are you doing the detox baths? Are you dry skin brushing everyday? Our skin is our largest living organ and to open those pores by brushing them is really healthy and doesn't take that long.
Diet.. That's a toughie! Maybe we should start a Lymie Diet thread. I can not afford organic and with the economy being what it is, maybe we can share our favorite recipes.
Anyway, I thought sugar from fruit was okay since it's a natural sugar compared to sugar from candy. I've been on a high protein diet (low carb) but I'm not sick (knock on wood) so it's working great for me. Sounds like your doctor is doing the right thing by cutting back on the antibiotics.. Can you afford to buy Dr. J's book? Reading that may help you understand what's going on inside your body.
Getting back to Little House:
I think the eldest girl's name was Mary, the middle one is Laura (Melissa Gilbert) with the freckles and the younger one Carrie..
How could we forget Nellie? She was such a trouble maker! Her mom was also a piece of work, LOL! Mrs. Harriet Olsen? I always felt bad for her husband Nells. I'm trying to decide what episode I like the best but there were too many good ones..
Netflicks? I don't get that and I already pay enough for cable!
Knots Landing: I think I got hooked when Val and Gary moved into the Cul-de-Sac and then Donna Mills (Abby) went after Gary... Everyone always said "poor Valene".. That show just got better and better.. And then when Nicolette Sheridan joined the show (from Desperate Housewives) aka Paige, I couldn't wait to see the next episode. But they don't televise that show anymore...
Oh, do I go on and on or what? LOL!
Hey, if anyone has e-mailed me, my e-mails are not working right now so please don't think I'm ignoring anyone okay? I may have a virus (computer) and need to do a system restore (done that a zillion times!)
Revision: Springsjean, yeah, I still do those foot baths for more reasons than one (I have horrible looking feet and these baths soften my calluses). Anyway, I have this inflatable foot thingy that I bought from Avon (you can use a large pan, anything that your feet will fit into) and I take hot water (not warm), take a huge measuring cup to fill the foot thing, add Cayenne Pepper and Dry Mustard Powder (I don't measure anymore, I just throw it all in).
The measurements are in the sticky on top "New to Lyme? Start Here!" and before I put my feet in I dry skin brush the bottoms of my feet and soak up to 30 minutes. I like to do this when I know I'm going to sit at the computer for a while or sit on my couch while knitting. My cats take one whiff of this and run!
