Mepron - affordable sources, anyone?

My insurance doesn't cover mepron, and since I have insurance, I don't qualify for the Bridges to Access program.

This is pricey stuff... over $2000 per month.

Has anyone found mepron at a reasonable cost anywhere? Cheapest I can find is $680/bottle online (2 weeks worth), and that's from online pharmacies that may not be the best to order from. More reputable pharmacies (online and otherwise) charge $1000+ per bottle.

My doc wants me on this for 6+ months, and at $2000/month I won't be able to comply, so I need to find it for less somehow.

I would request the ins co. re-review their decision. I would also tell dr, what it costs and that your ins will not cover it. I am sorry it really sucks u can't get it from bridges to access. i believe I was on mepron a long time ago, I wonder who your doc is. It really did kick some butt,, both made me very sick but over time i think (if memory serves) it put me into remission after awhile. good luck lisa
