I've posted this question before but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
To describe what I feel right now the entire left side of my body is in some pain, it's numb and weak - especially the arm it constantly feels like I've slept on it funny. The left side of my neck is in pain behind my ear and on the front of my ear on my face is in pain and it's also inside my ear. I have weakness running through my tongue up to my eye and so my face is drooping on that side and is also slightly swollen.
I've had this to varying degrees originally on the right side starting 3 years ago. Last year I had Ramsay hunt syndrome and the right side of my face went paralyzed on new years eve. I was bedridden for 4-5 months and had severe flu like viral symptoms. I've now been on antibiotics for approx 6 months for lYme disease - i tested positive through Igenix but not Elisa. I'm just so frustrated because it's been 3 years and last year was absolutely my worst nightmare come to life and I can't believe still after all this I'm having the same symptoms but now on the left side.
I'm still not convinced it's Lyme but I do have all the symptoms - I guess I thought the antibiotics would either give me bad herx or heal me faster - neither of which I'm experiencing. Just subtle improvements (unless I just think i'm improving).
I'm also taking Samento on top of 2 antibiotics. I don't know if it's coincidental but I think the Samento makes me feel worse like a slight herx.
Anyone have any of the same symptoms? My eyes look very sick and swollen, the eye bags get very swollen sometimes and my eyeballs swell. I also have hormonal imbalance which is what originally was the issue - it progressed from hormones to neurological to viral.
Thanks for any responses.

Hi namaste,
Although I do not experience these symptoms, I just wanted to say how sorry I was that you are going through this. I'm hoping someone here sees your post and can give you some ideas about what they've done or sometimes just knowing someone else has the same symptoms is a relief. I hope you get answers and some relief from this soon.
Something that just came to mind is if you are detoxing regularly? I still think that it's die off from the bacteria that causes all of these nasty symptoms we get. I'm not sayng that detoxing will cure this but it will help get some of those toxins out.

Hi CajunGirl,
Thanks for your response :) I do find if I detox that a lot of my symptoms do subside and I look and feel better. My diet was very strict as my version of a detox diet where I excluded all red meat, preservatives, sugar, candy, flour products, wheat, gluten, all grains, and dairy. I was eating stricly lots of veges and lean organic protein, eggs, avocados and pumpkin seeds. I'm not sure if this diet actually made things worse or better, but I've eased up on it since becoming very sick. If I do a cleanse as in a boxed cleansing program - it always helps me with symptoms. At first I accounted a lot of problems with the foods I was eating. I was originally put on the low carb diet for having hormonal issues and now I'm wondering if my diet actually compromised my immune system. I'm planning on doing a juice cleanse and detox soon - I just wanted to give the antibiotics a run on their own without me interfering too much with supplements or flushing them out.
Thanks so much for your concern. What do you suggest for detoxing?
Have you found any diet that has helped with symptoms?

Have you tried the regular detox bath yet using epsom salt, hydrogen peroxide and dry brushing your skin before you get in? I would also recommend a coffee enema cleanse as I have heard that it helps alot. A few members have tried it and the results were good. You can probably do a search to see what kind of coffee to use, how much, etc. There are also a ton of detoxes online but if I were you, I'd do a little research first and ask if anyone else has done them. Here is a link that eplains the coffee enema instructions:
www.fasting.ws/juice-fasting/cleansing-the-colon/coffee-enema-instructionsI have always felt better on a high protein diet. I've been wanting to post the diet here but when we moved, I lost all of my paperwork. I will have the lady that sends me my supplements fax it to me again. It is a very healthy diet.

Lindaca said that if a person has a gall bladder, coffee enemas are good.
This leads me to believe that if you don't have a gall bladder, you shouldn't be doing the coffee ememas.
I do live with both eyes - and both upper & lower eye lids swelling frequently. I'm pretty sure it's connected to my thyroid & adrenal issues though - which I am taking medicines for both.
I live with the messed up bowels as well. It can become very disabling for me from time to time. This has been with me for a very long time. I am weaning off of one script I have been taking for a little over 10 years now,
but it is only to get switched over to herbs that are helping me - I am not able to functions at all with out some kind of medication, a very high fiber diet, fiber supplements & drinking at least 2 quarts of water each day.
I wish I could think of somethings else, but all of my pain has been on both sides for the last 2 years.
I hope this helps some.

Hi Namaste44,
For the first year of my daughters illness, she expeerienced all of her pain on the left side. Muscle spasms, numbness, and tingling in her left shoulder, arm and leg were very common. Now however the disease has shifted to the right side also. Most of her pain is in her upper back and shoots straight across.
She still suffers more from the left side tho. :( she describes it as being partially paralized. (The left side is and has always been the worse) She has the bowel and stomach problems, and the ear pain. However no eye pain as of yet.
Sounds like you both have a lot in common. Hope it helps knowing there are others with you symptoms. God Bless!
