This lovely disease has taught me a few things this year and hence my new years resolution is a little different than years before but I truly believe will benefit me:
1. Learn to accept this new "normal". It really does make it easier to deal with.
2. Appreciate the good days and run with them!
3. Grin and bear the bad days. Tomorrow will be better.
4. Smile! It will make the day for you and everyone else more pleasant.
5. Volunteer some time to those less fortunate. Even if it means crocheting a blanket while on the couch.
6. Eat healthier! and try and get some exercise. It will do your body good.
7. Appreciate those love you and help you. They are in this with you - not against you.
8. Keep yourself and your mind busy - even if it is researching lyme and how to help yourself.
9. Accept that there are those that do not want to hear your problems. Anger is not going to help you get well.
10. Love yourself no matter what. You are who you are. Just be your best self.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.
