I have not tested positive for lyme but my doc who is lyme literate believes I have it and I have been treated for it. I am no longer taking any meds but believe I should start them again.
I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in all three compartments of my knees and have baker's cysts as well.
The bone on bone pain migrates between the knees............long periods of pain in one knee while the other is fine. Then the bad knee seems ok and the other knee has pain.
Now the bone on bone pain is gone but my knees are swollen and my quadricep muscles are sore and weak.
Is the muscle pain indicative of lyme? Any thoughts on what to do? I have been exercising and trying to strengthen my muscles. I do not generally have a problem with fatigue.
Other symptoms...............night sweats at times, stomach issues (not severe), irritated eyes, etc.
My problems seem to decrease and increase..........almost as though they were on a cycle.
