HI fakeID1,
Welcome to our forum! I am sorry that you have a need to be here, but you have found a great place to come and learn!!
First of all, even Igenix says that you have a positive on the LD test!
As Springsjean has said, ID docs are not the way to go, usually - there are always exceptions, though. Generally ID doc follow a completely different theory than docs that follow the ILADS (International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society) recommendations. ID docs don't even recognize that chronic LD even exists!!!

This is interesting as it has been scientifically proven.
Once again, welcome to our forum!!!
Here is a link to an article I came across on day from JAMA, in the archives of Internal Medicine published Jan. 10, 2011 titled "Analysis of Overall Level of Evidence Behind Infectious Diseases Society of America Practice Guidelines":
archinte.ama-assn.org/cgi/content/short/171/1/18It's only a 4 short paragraphs and
quite eye
opening!
You can find a lot of the answers you are looking for in the thread at the top of the forum titled "
New to Lyme?...Start here!", and by using the links that you will find there as well, you can really get a good understanding of the basics.
