Well, I've been back on Ceftin for 2 weeks now and after a minor herx (minmal joint pain, fuzzy head, slight dizziness and ear ringing)......I THINK I feel pretty great.
But I'm really not sure ! LOL
Compared to how I felt months ago, I am hugely improved-- that's for certain!
However, I can't decide that what I am feeling still might be Lyme symptoms--- or, conversely, are just normal aches and pains from playing more tennis.
I am really playing hard-- 2-4 hours almost everyday-- in preparation for match play in a local women's league a few months from now.....
......and I just can't remember what it normally feels like to have some stiffness and sore muscles which one would get from sports training.
Yes, LUCKY ME !!! for having come this far on my lyme healing journey, but I simply don't know where I stand with Lyme.
It's pure conjecture at this point (in my mind) as to whether I really am much better (in temporary Lyme remission or on the way to remission) or...
..... whether I am just getting used to lingering, very mild Lyme symptoms and am (falsely) considering them as NORMAL for my age (50's) coupled with the amount of strenuous exercise I'm doing.
I am seeing my LLMD (for my next follow up) on Tuesday....and will get his opinion.
I suppose if I just stopped playing tennis (which I don't want to do!!!!) and let my muscles totally 'heal' (so to speak) then I would be able to tell what's what.
It will be interesting to hear what my LLMD has to say.
I most definitely do not collapse after tennis....I feel invigorated and 'good' tired......but something still is a bit off. Can't quite put my finger on it though! Creepy Lyme.....still creeping around???
I just don't know!!
