Hi All,
I though I would start a new thread with this info, as so many seem to be told to see an ID doc. Before I learned much about
this set of infections, I mistakenly though the same thing - made sense, right? Infections, see an Infectious Disease Doc!! Well, not always!!
Here is the link to the original abstract:
archinte.ama-assn.org/cgi/content/abstract/171/1/18"Analysis of Overall Level of Evidence Behind Infectious Diseases Society of America Practice Guidelines"
"We analyzed the strength of recommendation and overall quality of evidence behind 41 Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) guidelines released between January 1994 and May 2010. Individual recommendations were classified based on their strength of recommendation and quality of evidence."
Please follow the link for more of this important info.
Thanks.
