WBC and Lyme

I posted this on another thread a week or so ago and nobody responded so I don't know if it was missed or not so I am starting a new thread.

On July 21, 2011 - I Started 3 week trial of Doxy

Ran labs one week prior to this with the following results:

WBC 6.9
ESR 14
CRP 6.9

Post labs were run a couple of weeks after 3 week trial

WBC 4.1
ESR 1
CRP 1

My WBC decreased and inflammation dropped significantly as well.


Tuesday September 20th, 2011 - Starting Doxy Treatment
Labs were done the morning before:

WBC 9
ESR 2
CRP 1

WBC was elevated... higher than it was before initial antibiotic trial.

My WBC levels are within normal range but the fact that they rose quite a bit in the period of a month, does that indicate anything or is that normal?

The last labs that showed my WBC elevated again were done the morning that I started my treatment, so the abx weren't in my system at that point.

The test results are inline with what I was thinking then. The WBC got quite high while you were off the abx. The fact that the ESR is elevated again shows that the inflammation was creeping back in - in my opinion anyway.
