updated photos of daughter's rash....please comment

Very strange. Did you say there is more than one of these rashes? It certainly doesn't look like a classic bullseye but with lyme nothing is predictable. Of course getting tested for lyme is very important but not always reliable either. I am more inclined to believe lyme tests are more accurate in the beginning of the disease though. Is the area getting scaly and hard? My doctor told me that ringworm would get hard and scaly but not lyme bullseye. The area surrounding it actually looking like someone drew on her leg with a pen. Is it a purplish color ring surrounding it?

Thanks for your response. Yes, I am unspeakably worried for my daughter and am willing to do anything to find out what is going on and how to stop it. It's heartbreaking and worrisome when I look at these pictures, not knowing how to help her.

Certainly something bit her, there are two puncture wounds from something, we just don't know what. The doctor initially said spider bites.

I'll update with info. when she wakes up tomorrow and again when we get the results from her blood test.

So is your daughter having any pain associated with the site? Does it still look like a rash, or does it look like it might be getting infected or something?

Has she shown any other symptoms that appear in the Master List in the "New to Lyme?" thread?

Although I do see what look like 'bite marks' like from a spider, I do believe that they are too far apart to be from a spider. Do you feel the same? We are beginning to just guess here I think.

Have you made an appt to see a LLMD yet? I believe it would be not only very helpful, but necessary at this point in time.
