hi there~ I found one! he is a rheumotologist with a clinical interest in lyme!! his name is dr steere, he is taking new patients!!! i just saw him, very thorough, nice guy...he even discovered lyme i found out (afterwards)....anyways if you are from my area you should know that MGH is well renown, top hospital....try that! You will want to find an ILADS(International Lyme And AssociatedDiseases Society) doctor. The ILADS site is a great place to read toget you started on your Lyme journey.

I believe I have seen the name before. Hollis is going to be one of those harder to get to places, but I think I'll look into it (need to find out the deal with insurance).

Dr. Steere believes a short term dose of ABX takes care of lyme and that if the WB doesnt meet CDC requirements then you don't have it; nor does chronic lyme exist. I was referred to see Dr. Steere in the past and promptly declined as to save my money. I didn't want to pay another Dr. to have him tell me I didn't have something I had because he didn't get a chance to see the rash before it went away and the WB didn't have enough bands to meet CDC reqs. Just my two cents.
