can anyone tell me what treatment they have gotten for EBV, HHPV6, Parvo virus and
any other co-infection virus.

I have hep c virus along with all these others and I did 10 weeks of inteferon ribaviron for the hep c
not knowing at the time that I had all this lyme going on.

The hep c virus cleared in 6 weeks but by the 10th week my whole system started going down too much.
cardiac, thyroid and of course no white or red blood cells .... so I stopped.

since then my ACTH levels have been too low which was why I went on cortisone.
I am on thyroid medicine
my liver enzymes went UP
my platlets were always low
and rhumatoidal factor was high before and after.

I was thinking why woudn't this inteferon combo go after the EBV, HHPV6 and Parvo or any other viral stuff
but it didn't.

What has anyone taken to deal with the viral coinfections?

My thoughts are that the viral problems subside once the Lyme is brought under control. Lyme suppresses the immune system and that causes the viruses to come out and play. I have reactivated EBV and chlamydia. At least I did in July when last tested. I was referred to colostrum by a fellow Lyme friend here who also has EBV. So I take it. Dunno if it's helping. Lol

I don't know what to make of it but I think some how most doctors are looking at what is bacterial and what is virla and what is parasite and fungal.

Even if all this was delivered by ticks ...antibiotics are for bacterial infection and viral infection is a different approach.

I suspect even that many of the years and years of antibiotics without VIRAL and PARASITE medictions is maybe over kill in the bacterial infection while still all these viral chronic fatigue type symptoms are still there along with
all the other symptoms.

anyone on antivirals??

My ND #1 who is not a lyme expert (I'm seeing another ND for that) suggests Lauricidin, which is derived from coconut. I can't answer as to whether it would eliminate these specific viruses you're mentioned b/c I haven't discussed those with him.

However, I know he believes the power of this supplement is under realized. It is a natural antibacterial, viral and antifungal. I have read reports of those with lyme adding it in and getting a big herx. Again, I'm not sure whether it's hitting bacteria or virus or both. But could be something to look into.

I was taking it everyday for an immune boost. I traveled and forgot it for 1 week and then got a cold. Coincidence? Don't know but it was my experience.

You might want to check out Oil of Oregano as well. I used it before to treat several different things. It's too strong for me right now, as my body is doing all that it can to keep up with the herbs I'm already taking.

Just a thought for you to check into if you want!

Yes the oil of oregono I have tried also and now after Jessica's explaination
I am understanding a very critical piece of the healing puzzle that I think is being over looked
and this is why the cycle continues of the up and down around and around.

Thank you Jessica. and when you have time can you explain the IPAC treatment to everyone.

I was completely off thinking it was another form of an ozone treatment.

I think this is major.
I am tired of using bandaids on these elephant size symptoms.

this is the first time I ever even heard this about the bacterial load going down and the viral loads going up.
