So I don't know how I only just came across this today...but it sounds amazing. I think I just skipped over anything I heard about it because I assumed it was either something done by doctors or ridiculously expensive...but I'm seeing them for only 2-300 dollars which is still expensive but considering all I spend on supplements if it works I think it'd be a great investment (plus I might just tell Santa I want one...)

I tried looking through old posts but didn't really find much information...

...are the cheaper (I think portable) ones good? Do they work? Does anyone have one? Any information would be greatly appreciated as I plan on finding any black friday deals I can!!

Hi Borderlyme.......I can absolutely recommend you buy one. Mine is a cheap (£130.00 English pounds) portable model, which was on daily for around 2 years at the height of my symptoms and is still working fine. Now I'm off meds and recovering (hopefully) I don't tend to use it much but with that being said when I do I thoroughly enjoy it. I found it my way of kicking some B.b a*s....sometimes I found it worsened my nerve pain symptoms while I was using it, but I took some enjoyment from this as I imagined the pain was from the B.b getting zapped.

Defo tell santa to put one in your stocking if you can't get one before.

I would suggest that you search Amazon and Ebay as well!! Enter the search terms "portable FIR sauna"- you should get a bunch of results pop up on your screen from both sites!! And good choice!!

Don't suppose your Santa would like to adopt a slightly older daughter? giggle!! smilewinkgrin

I just ordered it today...got one for just over $200...can't wait for Christmas now!!!

PS it looks like a giant toaster. Ridiculous.

im looking into buying a FIR sauna too but am overwhelmed by the number of different models and types! do most of you buy the portable ones that range around $1000? or is there something to be said about the quality if you go for a slightly more expensive one? im trying to way the options! any recommendations on models? thanks! looking forward to getting one! it will be especially nice given the bitter cold wisconsin winter :)

thanks for sharing yazzer! one question i have for everyone is how the portable sauna works? do you plug it in and does it use a lot of electricity to run? i guess im concerned because im a tenant at an apartment building and concerned about whether such a machine would even be allowed? and if it is very costly to run after i buy it. sorry if these are stupid questions!
