Lyme Disease teeth pain

I have been diagnosed with Lyme disease and have been on antibiotics for 2 months.  I have been having horrible pain from the nerves in all my teeth.  I have read that this is associated with Lyme disease.  What I would like to know is if one of you has had the same problem, how long did it last.  Mine has been going on for a few weeks.  It strikes once a day and then disappear until the following day.  Thanks for your input.

One of my first symptoms was teeth pain.  Being a dentalphobic, I underwent a bunch of dental work which was needed and still experienced horrible on an off teeth pain.  They told me it was from grinding my teeth at night from anxiety.  It wasn't.  I remember going to my brother's bbq one day and getting severe nerve pain in my teeth and finally being able to accept it without stressing out because I knew it would go away in a day or so which it did.  Feeling great now, it is totally gone.  However, I am on neurotin for what they say could be trigeminal neuralgia which was causing one sided facial burning pain.  I don't know if that is also helping with the teeth pain too but I don't think so.  Do you have any other facial symptoms? 

Have you ruled out grinding your teeth? Sleeping with a nightguard can be a simple solution if that's contributing to your pain - you can find them at most drugstores.

Another thing to consider is toxins! When you kill off the lyme, you're left with neurotoxins that can wreak havok on your body - and nerve pain and vertigo can definitely be symptoms. There's a section on detoxing in the "new to lyme" thread that has some suggestions for detoxing - easy things - that might help some of those symptoms. Most of us here will agree that detoxing during treatment is really important!

I had teeth pain after starting Doxcy. I'm not sure how long The pain lasted, but it wasn't months. Everything checked out fine when I had a regular dentist appointment, but I remember my teeth just ached.

So sorry about your loss of teeth. So far I am still getting pain in teeth every afternoon that is as regular as clockwork. I am taking a pill for pain as soon as I feel in coming on. Hopefully, this symptom will disappear soon.
