The body has a lot to adjust to when it's sick, when it's recovering, and during a herx. It's not uncommon to have changes in appetite, or in the way your body responds to food. All of the systems of the body can be affected, both by the disease itself and herxing.
Another thing to consider is that sometimes the body can sort of create extra fat to store excess toxins, so, while not ideal, it means your body is doing a good job of protecting itself from harm!
