Could this be a Lyme rash?

Hello all.

Tuesday June 12th, I awoke to find a small, itchy, red bump on my thigh. Just figured something had bit me in the night. Over the next two days, the bump turned into a sort of rash. At the day 2 or 3 mark, it reached its peak size, not much bigger than a penny. There was a good deal of swelling, and the level of the rash was well above the normal skin level until about yesterday. Now the swelling is far less. I've looked over multiple symptom lists, and I have none other than this rash. Saturday, I started documenting the rash with pictures.

I've already booked an apt. with my doc. That said, could one of the Lyme-literate types in here tell me what they think of the rash? It doesn't look much like any Lyme rash I've come across, and the swelling and apparent bruising around the rash don't appear in any descriptions or pictures I've seen.

No symptoms whatsoever, aside from this rash. I already have an appointment booked with my doc. Just posting here to get opinions so I can go into the appointment with as much info as possible. It doesn't help that I live in FL, which due to it being a state with lower infection rates, doesn't seem to have many options for Lyme-literate docs.

Unfortunately, I'm away from home, and the soonest possible time I can see my doctor is Monday. Though, were I bit, it would have happened at home (Florida).

The rash still looks much the same, except it's faded a bit, and the bruised greenish color is showing through more. My skin is very light. I sit behind a computer all day, live in a city and hadn't been near any wooded areas, nor do I have any pets. There was also substantial firm swelling for the first four days. This, I have read in multiple places, is uncharacteristic of EM. My rash grew to its maximum size in around two days (which, as pictured, is slightly larger than a penny), and has been fading ever since (also uncharacteristic of EM). And one week after the rash first appeared, still no other symptoms.

I say all this not to self-diagnose, because I'm certainly no expert. I'm just trying to count the factors in my favor, knowing that even all these being true, I could still have Lyme.

Just following up.

I went to my doc yesterday. She didn't think it was a Lyme rash, but said any time a patient mentions even the possibility of a tick, she hands out a Doxy scrip. So now I'm on Doxy for 6 weeks. She also said to be on the lookout for symptoms, but there haven't been any so far.
