Has anyone had symptom relief with Plaquenil?

Hey all,

So I've begun treatment and am awaiting the remainder of my medication to arrive via shipment. So far I'm only taking plaquenil (Hydroxychloroquine) daily. Am I correct to assume that this drug will not precipitate a herx reaction? Because from what I've read, for one it's not an antibiotic, but it seems to only help with Lyme-associated arthritis.

Has anyone here who has taken this medication actually achieved a relief of arthritic symptoms? Arthritis and joint pain really isn't a huge symptom of mine.

Dr P likes it because it is supposed to change intra-cellular pH, allowing other Abx to work more effectively.
